We can repack older /obscure / imported tool battery packs as long as they use  standard size cells and sometimes event when they don’t. Obviously if they use special cells there may well be a slightly increased price. Normally the standard nicad charger, especially if it is a higher quality type, can also  charge Nimh cells. This means that where Nimh cells can fit your unit, we can fit  them, and, often they are available in a higher capacity in which case they allow you  extra work time. As a rule you would have to charge your battery a little longer, the  period will be determined by the capacity of the cells. These cells have less  tendency to build up a memory like the nicads do, however eventually they will also build up the memory if the battery pack is not cycled. These cells are obviously  more expensive, and therefore probably not worth it.
